Head to the market after you’ve fought several battles and gained some padded armor for your party.
If there is a fruit vendor there getting hassled, then you can follow the plot to battle a really tough set of enemies. They hold Fire Cylinders & frost Cylinders & painful shortswords & studded armor. Overall a really tough fight.
My method was to first go after the jerk that has the fire cylinder equipped; as he does the most damage.
Careful; because you take damage for every melee attack you do to him.
Once he’s out of the way, go after the frost cylinder guy because he can do sever damage quickly with that weapon. After he’s toast go after Mr ‘defense stance’ and kick his arse (its hard because he blocks alot of attacks, but once his defense is gone, just whittle away at him and he will fall)
Finally head for the badass who weilds the shortsword; and hit him with all you’ve got, because he can wipe out your party easily by inflicting bleeding wounds that can easily kill off a weaker character.
Once the battle’s over, do NOT forget to take your rewards and then place your severly injured characters into the inactive party for the day, and let them rest. :)
