Not sure if this is the right place, but the Tips and Strategies forum seems to be more a place for offering advice then for asking it.

I’ve died 3 times in the Volum Mills Escort Mission already, and I’m starting to think that I’m doing something wrong.

I already have 2 missions to do that I recieved after that one.
I can take out the groups at the Volum road and at the Clearing, and I can take out Tuuk groups.

But I can’t take those rangers.
Do I need a certain strategy for this, or are they simply more powerful and I should just wait?

Road < Clearing < Rangers < Tuuk

I had no problem with the Rangers, while the Tuuk killed me bad.

In the first fight you see with the mindwind rod…I see how it could be tough.
Luckily for me, it went down a little something like this:

My full melee tank was the one they targeted, lucky. I hid everyone else in the little clearing wih the bottleneck of trees for protection. My tank got stuck, but they couldn’t kill him, I used dual-blade defense every turn, and used my other two damage dealers to cut a hole open for him.
Once my tank was free, I put him in the middle of the clearing, luring everyone else in, but made sure they only came in one at a time.
My tank dual-blade defensed every turn. My other dual-blader did most of the damage while my brawler held him and shanked him with his dagger…oh, and 3 of my characters have damaged chain/ringmail…except my leecher, who was very important to me finishing that fight without a single HP missing from anyone…
Flesh/Hand to Hand = Fleshtheft …steal the enemies life, and distribute it amongst your other characters.

Now…how in the hell do you kill those Tuuk!?

Best hints I can give are keep your characters spread out as much as possible to avoid the area-based sleep attack and take out that mystic before you worry about the rest of them.

I kill the Tuuk by surrounding one of them and hitting it with everything I have.
One of my problems with the rangers is that they’re ambushing and I can’t properly blitz them.

However, the main thing is that the Tuuk do far less damage then the rangers to me, and I can do decent damage to them. with the rangers, they can strip one of my people of his defense and get him down to 60 life in one round.

Got them.
I bought a Shiny Plate, and got the weapons from the Tuuk mission, and I managed to kill them.
