I love the smell of new wiki in the morning…
Er, ahem.
So, I want to start seeing a list of all the skills, weapons, and armor that exist in the game. Is this considered “Too Spoiler-y”, “Something Ranger Sheck Has Plans For”, or “Go (Reasonably) Crazy”?
If you do want to see this information start to appear on the wiki, I think there are two general approaches:
- One wiki page for each skill, weapon, and armor.
- Upside
- Straight-forward access. I search for “Fleshtheft” and I get a “Fleshtheft” page.
- You can use the “Category” system to tag pages (grouping “Fire”, “Melee”, “Area”).
- Downside
- This may be a whole lot of pages with not a lot of content.
- It’s a bit difficult to directly compare items.
- One universal wiki page listing all the skills. And one of all the weapons. And one for all the armor.
- Upside
- Not a navigational nightmare. Just create redirects to the universal page.
- It’s a bit easier to directly compare items.
- Downside
- This may be a whole lot of content to stuff into a single page.
- Desired information may become a needle in a haystack.
(For the second option, you can treat each item as a new header section or you can use a table.)
I suppose a good way to start would be with a universal page option and if it proves to be necessary afterwards implement individual pages.

I don’t believe that a list of weapons/armor on a single page would be too much against us, but as the skills go, every usable action in the game on individual pages would just be rediculous. If you have the equipment to use a skill, you can see all the info you need about that skill from the equip character page in the game.
As for a list of actions that require two weapons, you will have to do some searching.

I don’t care either way, but I tend to agree with Bron – creating a page for each action might get a bit tedious. However, if someone wants to take the time to do it, go for it. The spoiler page that Bron made a couple weeks ago is pretty handy (search on ‘spoiler’, you’ll find it).
