So, I was just using the action “Buffered Bat” in a battle, and noticed that the effect isn’t the same as the description in the action. The description for the action reads:
[Friendly, Air/Clubs, Range: self, Duration: 3]: create a buffer of air around your club, increasing it’s defensive reach without slowing it down
However, when I used the action in battle, here is the subsequent effect:
“$defender bats away incoming attacks with an air-buffered club. (Melee active boosted by 166)”
This effect came into play when I used both double-blunt attack (which does involve a club) and strike with staff (which does not).

Thanks for the report. Seems as if it was marked as an active boost action instead of passive boost, as according to description.

Fixed to be a passive action. It should take effect whenever an incoming melee attack is taken against the PC with the effect.
Thanks, Espeaje for the report (and Kranodor for the troubleshooting).
