I guess I missed it when it was implemented, but I think I remember that an update before (or more) herbal heal was also usable on the skilled pc itself. I understand that like that it was a quite or too strong combo, but I think there should be a similar possiblity, but much more expensive like “self heal” or *herbal cure" – with the same effect as herbal heal, such that the skilled character can self-heal itsself to 100% – for myself this is logic because he uses a second thing (herbs) beside the flesh he needs to heal.
ps: I didn’t find a herbal heal thread in the suggestions part, I’m sorry if I missed it.

Sheck is pretty strictly against self-heals. I don’t know if Herbal Heal actually worked (it was somewhat buggy when used on oneself – a way in which it was not intended) and one of the first things Sheck did when he implemented minimum ranges was to sort this out: You can’t use Flesh Pass or Herbal Heal on yourself.

Yeah, I kinda like the restriction of self-healing. It makes the game more strategic rather than simply healing your characters.
