Can someone share with me where I can get a better item that has Flesh as Primary (secondary optional)? My primary characters are approaching 70 in their main skills and my Flesh user still has a “basic” Flesh caller at 8/50/40 :(

I remember seeing some stuff on the Market when I started, but there’s nothing now…

I just started one of my mains on the Light Staff/Ember Gloves combo – wow! I Strengthen him and he sometimes does over 200 damage in one turn (92AP – 23 per attack). I noticed some of you have your AP down to 22/21 – where do I find the creatures that drop these?

I’ve done most of the missions to open up Chaduk and Martuso…still working on some (coil 1, martuso mines). Will I have to advance the mission “plotline” a bit before I see them?

Thanks in advance (those of you who take the time to answer).

I’ve invited a few friends to try this – hope they like it as much as I do!

I got tired of my 54 speed basic flesh caller and got the Excellent Danmam Fleshcoil from the The Double-Coil Inventor – Part 2 mission. Now I have flesh rend (24 AP).

I have to comment on how you got to 70 in you skills and most of your characters are 5 days old. Nice. I almost forgot about Aethora, but started playing again when I got the Oct. update.

I’m one of those people who finds something they like and spend a lot of time with it. I LOVE tactical combat – especially team based, so I’m always looking for new stuff.

When I need to rest my characters (for 80%+ healing) I’ve been taking a break and playing the Drakensang demo – interesting RPG, I liked the Star Trail series although they were hard to pick up…

I guess I’ll go finish coil pt1 so I can do pt2 – is it a “set” reward for the mission? Or did you find it on one of the mission bad guy fights?

The Danmam coils are a selectable reward (that is, you get to pick one metatherical skill and get one coil for that skill) in two of the five possible endings for Double-Coil Inventor Part 2. Depending on the decisions you make in Part 1 and throughout Part 2, you’ll either get an Excellent Danmam Coil, or a normal one, or none at all. Most players got the Excellent ones, so far.

Apart from that possibility, there is always the Krati Lifepipe (Martuso Mines), the Flesheater (another Mission reward) and the (Fine) Platen Ceremonial Daggers (Plateney Woods). All of them are better than the Basic Flesh Cylinders but worse than a (Excellent) Danmam Fleshcoil.

Ugh, I almost wish you didn’t tell me that. Now I’m going to struggle over the decisions involved and get mad when I don’t get the “excellent” one :( And no way to save and try again – sounds like you can’t even reset the mission seeing there are two tied together…bummer.

Oh well, maybe I’ll get lucky…

I finished the Coil pt 1 and easily have the meta requirements for pt 2 – however the mission doesn’t appear in the Industrial area. At the end of the first one it mentioned something about them needing me in “a day or two” Do I have to wait a day or two of “real life time” before the quest pops up?

Yeah, there is a timer between those two missions.

In a day or two, they said? Well… I think you made the “right” choices. ;)
(The other choices give comparable rewards, of course, but – you can guess it – no (Excellent) Danmam Coils.)

I think I’ve made the right choices so far…I got a nice Flesheater to hold me over for awhile so that’s good. Now I just have to wait out the timer.

LOL, so after all that I decided to get the Gravity coil instead – WOW – Heavy Boots for 20AP – woohoo! 5 times a round at max AP – sweet :)

Speed 79… wow, you got an outstandingly quick one, even for an excellent danmam coil. That’s easily one of the quickest weapons – likely the quickest gravity weapon in the game right now. That particular one.

yeah, 79 is VERY nice.
I’ve got 79 on my Airwind danmam, and before I switched to Airwind/Air I got Swiftblade down to 20 AP.
I’m now using a 27 AP Tornado as my main attack with the char :D

My Airwind Danmam has “only” 75 speed… sadly.
