OK.
First of all, I’ll say that I like the new skills.

However, I have to question the change to Fleshtheft.
Is it intentional that it only hit defense, and do no health damage?
If so, then it makes no sense at all, in context.
I’m taking some of the enemy’s flesh, but it doesn’t hurt him?

Yes, sad to say fleshtheft has been nerfed because we discovered it was too powerful (you could load up all 4 characters with flesh items and just keep stealing flesh, bypassing the enemy defense and keeping your health at max). So now it only steals health if their defense is at 0.

The idea behind this is that if they have some defense, they have the ability to resist, but if you’re trying to pull the flesh from them then you are going to damage their ability to defend. If their defense is shot, you’ll be pulling flesh right off of them. Also note that if their defense is low and you use fleshtheft and score a hit higher than their defense, whatever remaining damage that is left over after reducing defense to 0 should be acquired as health by the fleshthief.

Then I’m sad to say that it doesn’t work.
It simply doesn’t do any health damage now, only remove defense.

Unless you have to be wounded for it to do damage?

Yes, this is true – the attacking PC has to be wounded. Sorry, I should have clarified. Actually, now that I think about it though, this is a bit confusing for players, because you’d think you could steal flesh without actually using it. I’ve changed it so that the target still takes damage, whether the flesh is used to heal or not.

About Geostab.
It seems that the game works as if this is a melee skill.
It gets blocked by Stone Coat and 2 Blade/Blunt Defense.

Moreover, the user gets hit when the target has damaging effects such as 2 blade/blunt defense and Firecoat

About Geostab: ah. You’re right. Since it mimics your blade, I think it’s appropriate that it gets blocked by stonecoat and blade/blunt defense. However, the damaging effects should not reach across the board like that. Unfortunately, this is the first time we’ve come up with an action that is part melee, but is actually a long range attack – so the underlying code isn’t designed for this situation. Which means I’ll have to fix it later, but it might be a couple days before I get to it.

Fleshtheft doesn’t seem to be working at all right now.
It keeps loading forever, and when I tried to refresh and use a different action I got a white screen with the following message:

Still not working properly.
I used it to kill something, and the extra damage spilled over to me.

The enemy had 2 HP left, I was at 100.
The attack did 27 damage, killed the enemy, and brought me down to 75

Bah – ok, this time I think it’s right. I tried a bunch of scenarios, setting health and defense at different levels. Let me know if it works or not.
