I’ve got 4 hurt characters (below 20%) besides a medic bag, how do I heal them?

Time? Rest them?

They heal up when inactive. So on the Party management screen, drag injured characters over to the Inactive side and they will heal up over time (it doesn’t take long; a character can heal from 0 to 100 in about 30 minutes).

also at any hospital you can heal up characters to 80% for a fee, this fee depends on what there current life is at and what level the character is. the higher his/her skills the more it costs to heal them.
