I was just thinking: would it make sense for some (but definitely not all!) types of armor to have an element associated with them, where the character can do a (very) limited number of things using that element? Nothing offensive, only defensive/friendly ‘spells’ – armor is defensive by nature.
If people like this idea, I’ll go ahead and work out some stats for something . . . and post the results elsewhere. Just let me know what you think.

it’s an interesting concept, maybe if instead of just giving all armor an element had a way to upgrade an element into the armor? like as a quest reward or a special merchant somewhere
